The Pricing Setup wizard walks you through defining your billing structure in four steps: terms, programs, additional charges, and tuition rates. Access it from the Pricing Setup section in the admin portal.
Step 1: Term
Start by selecting a term. Choose a school year or define a custom date range. The term sets the billing period for your tuition rates.
Step 2: Programs
Define the programs your center offers, such as Infant, Toddler, or Preschool. Each program includes an age range. Programs are assigned to individual children using the assignProgramToChild function.
Step 3: Additional Charges
Add optional charges beyond base tuition. These can include add-ons, punch cards, or one-time fees. This step is optional and can be skipped if your center only charges base tuition.
Step 4: Tuition Rates
Define tuition options for each program. You can create multiple rate options per program to accommodate different schedules or arrangements.
Assigning Programs to Children
Once your pricing setup is complete, assign programs to individual children. This links them to the appropriate tuition rate and enables automatic invoice generation.
Complete all four steps of the wizard before assigning programs to children. This ensures your rates and charges are fully configured.
Changes to tuition rates do not update invoices that have already been generated. Only future invoices will use the new rates.
