The Settings page is where you configure your center's core information and operational rules. These settings affect how attendance works, when alerts fire, and how your subscription is managed.
Center Information
The top section of Settings lets you update your center's basic details. You can change your center name, phone number, state, and timezone. Neztio provides a list of US timezone presets (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific) as well as the full IANA timezone list for centers outside standard US zones.
Business Hours
Set your center's daily open and close times. These hours are used across the platform to determine when children are expected and when late checkout alerts should trigger.
- 1Go to Settings from the left sidebar.
- 2Find the Business Hours section.
- 3Set your opening time and closing time.
- 4Click Save.
Attendance Rules
Attendance rules let you control how check-in and check-out behaves at your center. These toggles and options are found in the Settings page under the Attendance Rules section.
- Require checkout before pickup: Ensures a checkout record is created before a child leaves.
- Allow late checkouts: Controls whether staff can check out a child after business hours.
- Default absent reason: Sets the pre-filled reason when marking a child absent.
- Require pickup notes: Requires staff to add a note when checking out a child.
- Allow non-parent pickups: Controls whether authorized pickups (non-guardians) can check out a child.
- Incomplete checkout alerts: Notifies admins when a child is checked in but not checked out by closing time.
- High absence alerts: Flags children with an unusual number of absences.
Subscription Management
Your current subscription plan is displayed in Settings. Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your payment method, change your plan, or view billing history.
Review your attendance rules when you first set up your center and again at the start of each school year. Rules like requiring pickup notes or enabling late checkout alerts can make a big difference in daily operations.
