Import Enrollment Data

Import takes a CSV export from your old system and creates the children, guardians, classrooms and enrollments for you. Neztio recognizes the common vendors' column names and lets you correct the rest.

How to Import

1. 1Go to Import in the left sidebar (under Settings).
2. 2Upload the CSV: up to 5 MB and 500 rows, with a header row. Choose the Source system or leave Auto-detect.
3. 3Click Analyze Columns. On Map Columns, each of your columns shows what it Maps To and a Confidence. Fix any that are wrong; at least a first or last name column must be mapped.
4. 4Click Preview Data. Import Readiness shows what is covered (child identity, guardian, classroom, date of birth, medical, emergency contacts, pickups, enrollment) and lists rows with issues. Skip a row or include it anyway.
5. 5Click Import. Results shows children imported, guardians linked, classrooms created and anything skipped.

What Can Be Imported

• Child: first and last name, date of birth, gender, race and ethnicity, home address.
• Classroom assignment. Rooms that do not exist yet are created.
• Primary and second guardian: name, email and phone.
• Medical: allergies, physician name and phone, medical notes.
• Up to two emergency contacts and two authorized pickups.
• Enrollment status and dates, subsidy status and case number, notes.

After the Import

From Results, click Send Parent Invites to email every guardian with an address, then Review Imported Children to check classroom assignments. If you import the same file again, children already in your roster are skipped (matched by student ID, or by name and date of birth).
