Creating Developmental Assessments

Assessments in Neztio let teachers track each child's developmental progress across key domains. You can create assessment templates with specific milestones and rate each child's progress over time.

Setting Up Assessment Templates

  1. 1Go to Classrooms > Assessments.
  2. 2Click Create Template.
  3. 3Name the template (e.g., "Infant Development Q1").
  4. 4Add developmental domains (e.g., Motor Skills, Language, Social-Emotional).
  5. 5Under each domain, add specific milestones to evaluate.
  6. 6Click Save Template.

Completing an Assessment

  1. 1Open a child's profile and go to the Assessments tab.
  2. 2Click Start Assessment and select a template.
  3. 3Rate each milestone using the scale (Not Yet, Emerging, Developing, Mastered).
  4. 4Add optional notes or observations for each milestone.
  5. 5Click Save when complete.

Schedule assessments at regular intervals (quarterly is common) to build a clear picture of each child's growth over time.
