QR Code Check-In

QR code check-in lets parents check their children in and out by scanning a code with the Neztio parent app. It is fast, contactless, and records the exact time.

How It Works

• The parent opens the Neztio parent app and taps Check-in on the Home screen.
• The camera opens. They point it at the QR code on your kiosk screen or posted at the door.
• When it reads QR Code Scanned, they pick the child and tap Check In or Check Out.
• The app confirms, and the Attendance page updates for staff at once.

Where the Code Comes From

1. 1Go to Attendance in the left sidebar and click Launch kiosk.
2. 2The kiosk screen shows the code families scan. Leave it running on a tablet at the door, or print the code and post it at the entrance.
3. 3Families with more than one child choose which children to include after the scan.

Troubleshooting

• Code not scanning: make sure the printed code is flat, well lit and not crumpled.
• Wrong child: the app asks which child to check in when a family has several. Ask the parent to check the name before tapping.
• Parent cannot scan: check they have the latest Neztio app and have allowed camera access in their phone's settings.
