Neztio uses role-based access control to make sure each staff member sees only what they need. Roles determine what features, data, and actions are available to each person.

Role Types

  • Super Admin: Full access to everything, including billing, all centers, and organization-level settings. Typically the owner or director.
  • Center Admin: Manages a single center. Can handle staff, enrollment, classrooms, billing, and messaging. Cannot access other centers or organization settings.
  • Staff (Teacher): Limited to their assigned classrooms. Can take attendance, view rosters, send messages to parents, and log activities.

Permission Breakdown

Here is what each role can and cannot do:

  • View all classrooms: Super Admin and Center Admin only.
  • Take attendance: All roles (staff limited to assigned classrooms).
  • Manage enrollment: Super Admin and Center Admin only.
  • Send messages to parents: All roles.
  • Create invoices: Super Admin and Center Admin only.
  • View billing and payment data: Super Admin and Center Admin only.
  • Manage staff accounts: Super Admin and Center Admin only.
  • Edit center settings: Super Admin and Center Admin only.

Changing a Staff Member's Role

  1. 1Go to Staff in the left sidebar.
  2. 2Click on the staff member's name.
  3. 3Select the new role from the Role dropdown.
  4. 4Click Save. The change takes effect immediately.

Start new hires with the Staff role. Promote to Center Admin once they are trained and ready for more responsibility.

Removing Center Admin access from someone who manages billing could disrupt invoice creation and payment tracking. Reassign those duties first.
