If your center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), you need to track each child's eligibility category. Neztio helps you manage income eligibility forms and categorize children as Free, Reduced, or Paid.

Setting Up Eligibility

  1. 1Go to Meals > Eligibility.
  2. 2Find the child in the list.
  3. 3Click the child's name to open their eligibility record.
  4. 4Select the eligibility category: Free, Reduced, or Paid.
  5. 5Enter the determination date and expiration date.
  6. 6Click Save.

Eligibility Categories

  • Free: Family income is at or below 130% of the federal poverty level.
  • Reduced: Family income is between 130% and 185% of the federal poverty level.
  • Paid: Family income exceeds 185% of the federal poverty level.

Eligibility determinations expire annually. Neztio will alert you when a child's eligibility is approaching expiration so you can request updated documentation.
