Activity Log

The Activity Log automatically records every significant action taken at your center, including enrollment changes, billing updates, attendance events, staff modifications, and settings changes. No setup is required. As soon as your center is active, the log starts recording.
What Gets Tracked
- Enrollment: new enrollments, status changes, withdrawals
- Attendance: check-ins, check-outs, absence reports
- Billing: invoice creation, payment recording, tuition changes
- Staff: profile updates, role changes, terminations
- Classrooms: schedule changes, room updates
- Meals: menu assignments, food item changes, CACFP claims
- Messaging: messages sent by parents and staff
- Settings: center profile changes, configuration updates
Accessing the Activity Log
- 1Click Activity Log in the Business section of the left sidebar.
- 2The log defaults to the last 7 days of activity.
- 3Entries are grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, This Week, etc.).
- 4Click any entry to expand it and see the full details, including who made the change, what changed, and the before/after values.
Understanding Entry Details
Each log entry shows the time, a description of the action, and the area it belongs to (Billing, Enrollment, Attendance, etc.). Entries are color-coded by severity: green for new records and approvals, blue for updates, red for deletions, and amber for status changes. Expanding an entry reveals the actor name, action badge, source (web or mobile), and a field-level diff showing exactly what changed.
Exporting the Activity Log
- 1Select a date range using the preset buttons or custom date picker.
- 2Click Export CSV in the top-right corner of the page.
- 3A CSV file will download with all entries in the selected range.
- 4The export includes timestamp, actor, action, target, module, description, and field-level changes.
The Activity Log is available to center administrators only. Staff members with teacher or manager roles cannot access it. Use the CSV export to share audit data with licensing inspectors or during compliance reviews.
