PTO Balances

Every staff member has a PTO balance that tracks their available time off. Balances are broken down by leave type and updated automatically as time is accrued or used.
Viewing Your Balance
Go to My Info > PTO to see your current balances. The dashboard shows your total allocated days, days used, and days remaining for each leave type. You can also view a history of all past requests and their statuses.
How Accrual Works
- Accrual rates are set by your center's admin in the PTO policy settings.
- Common accrual methods include per-pay-period, monthly, and annual front-load.
- Accrued hours appear in your balance on the applicable date.
- Carryover limits and maximum balance caps are configurable per policy.
Request History
Your request history shows every PTO request you have submitted along with its status (approved, denied, pending, or cancelled). Click on any request to see the full details including manager notes.
Check your balance before submitting a request. If you do not have enough days remaining, the request will still go through but will be flagged for manager review.
PTO balances reset on your center's policy anniversary date. Unused days may not carry over depending on your center's carryover policy.
