Neztio's PTO management system handles the full lifecycle of time-off requests. Staff members submit requests through the app, and managers approve or deny them with a single click. Approved PTO automatically adjusts schedules and coverage projections.

Submitting a PTO Request (Staff)

  1. 1Go to My Info > PTO in the left sidebar.
  2. 2Click Request Time Off.
  3. 3Select the type of leave (vacation, sick, personal).
  4. 4Choose the start and end dates.
  5. 5Add an optional note for your manager.
  6. 6Click Submit Request.

Reviewing Requests (Managers)

  1. 1Go to Staff > PTO Requests.
  2. 2Pending requests appear at the top, sorted by date.
  3. 3Click on a request to see details including remaining balance and coverage impact.
  4. 4Click Approve or Deny. Add a note if denying to explain the reason.
  5. 5The staff member receives a notification with the decision.

Leave Types

  • Vacation: Paid time off that accrues based on your center's policy.
  • Sick: Time off for illness, typically with a separate balance.
  • Personal: Discretionary days for personal matters.
  • Unpaid: Time off without pay, does not deduct from any balance.

When reviewing a PTO request, check the coverage map for the requested dates. Neztio shows you whether approving the request would create a coverage gap.
