Posting Daily Activities

The daily activity feed is how teachers share what happened during the day with families. You can post photos, notes, and activity updates that parents see in real time through the Neztio parent app.

Posting an Activity

  1. 1Go to Daily Timeline in the left sidebar and select the classroom.
  2. 2Find the child and click + Log on their row.
  3. 3Under What are you logging?, choose the activity, for example Meal, Nap, Diaper, Potty or Note.
  4. 4Fill in the details and any notes, then click Save. The entry appears on the child's timeline and in the parent app.
  5. 5Choosing Photo opens Share Photos & Videos with the child already selected.

Activity Types

  • Photo: Share a picture with an optional caption.
  • Note: A text update about the child's day.
  • Learning: Record a learning activity and how the child took part.
  • Meal: Record the meal (for example Lunch, AM Snack or PM Snack), what was served and how much the child ate: None, Some, Most or All.
  • Nap: One entry with the start and end time, so the family also sees how long the nap lasted.
  • Diaper and Potty: Diaper changes and toilet trips are logged separately.
  • Incident: Every incident report also appears on the child's day. Families see it only after staff mark Parent notified (see Incidents and Emergency Alerts).

To log the same meal or diaper check for every child in the room at once, use Batch Log in the three-dot menu (see Daily Sheets and Batch Logging).

Need to share many photos at once? Use Share Photos & Videos to send up to 20 photos to an entire classroom at once. Parents see them grouped as a single moment card. See the "Share Photos with Parents" help article for details.
