Immunization tracking

Immunizations shows which children are behind on vaccines and which are missing records, calculated automatically from each child's date of birth and the CDC childhood immunization schedule. You record the doses and exemptions; Neztio keeps the running status and an inspection-ready history.

The roster

Open Compliance, then Immunizations. You get one row per enrolled child with a status, the next dose due, and whether the records are verified. The tiles across the top count children by state (on track, due soon, overdue, review needed, no record, exempt, and no date of birth). Filter or search to focus, and export the whole roster to CSV any time.

What the statuses mean

• On track: every dose due so far is on file.
• Due soon: a dose is coming up.
• Overdue: a verified series is behind schedule. Only records the center has verified earn this red status.
• Review needed: something needs a human look. Either the records on file do not add up (for example, dates too close together), or doses on file appear behind but have not been verified yet.
• No record: nothing is on file for a vaccine that would be due. This means missing paperwork, not that the child never received it.
• Exempt: an exemption is on file and accepted.
• No DOB: add the child's date of birth so Neztio can evaluate the schedule.

On a child's profile

Open a child and choose the Immunizations tab. 'Immunizations needing attention' lists each vaccine that needs action, with the dose number and the date it was due. Tap a vaccine row to open its actions: Request record sends the family your record request form, Record dose opens prefilled for that vaccine, and Review evidence jumps to the records so you can verify them. Below the card you see the dose history on file, and at the bottom you set the compliance determination.

Recording a dose

1. 1Open the child and go to the Immunizations tab.
2. 2Select Record a dose, or tap the vaccine in the attention list to prefill it.
3. 3Choose the vaccine, the dose number, the date given, and the source of the record.
4. 4Save. The status updates automatically.

Requesting a record from the family

1. 1Open the child, go to the Immunizations tab, and tap the vaccine that is missing a record.
2. 2Select Request record. The family receives your immunization record request form in their parent app.
3. 3When the record comes back, review it, record the doses, and verify.

If a request is already waiting on the family, Neztio tells you instead of sending a duplicate. The request uses your immunization record request form, so make sure one is active under Enrollments, then Forms.

Exemptions

Record an exemption claim on a vaccine, then accept it (managers and admins). An accepted exemption settles that vaccine and stops its reminders. You can set an expiry date so it returns for review when it lapses.

Verifying records and the determination

Verify the records once a staff member has reviewed the documents on file. Verification notes who reviewed them and when, bound to the exact records reviewed; it does not authenticate the underlying paperwork, and it is separate from whether the child is up to date. If a dose is added or corrected after a review, the child automatically returns to review. Only verified records earn the red Overdue: a series that appears behind but is not yet verified shows as Unverified on the profile and stays in review, so a child is never called overdue on paperwork the center has not reviewed. Then set the compliance determination: Verified on schedule (available only when nothing is outstanding), Needs follow-up, or Override with a reason, which is recorded.

Reminders

A daily check flags children who need attention so nothing slips, and sends a gentle reminder to the family's parent app for outstanding doses and records. No setup is needed beyond families having the parent app with notifications on.
