This guide explains what parents can see and do in the Billing section of the Neztio parent app. Share this information with families during onboarding so they know how to view their invoices and billing status.
Viewing Invoices
Parents can see all their invoices in the Billing section of the Neztio app. The invoice list includes filter tabs for All, Unpaid, and Paid invoices. Tapping an invoice opens the detail view, which shows line items grouped by month.
Invoice Statuses
- Open: The invoice has been sent and is awaiting payment.
- Overdue: The invoice is past its due date.
- Paid: Payment has been received and confirmed.
Balance and Autopay Status
The Billing section displays a balance summary showing the total amount owed. Parents can also see their autopay status (whether it is enabled or not) and their saved payment method information, including the card brand and last four digits. These are view-only displays; parents cannot change autopay settings or manage payment methods from the app.
Making Payments
Payments are not made directly within the Neztio parent app. Instead, parents pay via payment links sent by email or through the Stripe-hosted payment page. When an invoice is sent, parents receive an email with a secure link to complete their payment.
Let parents know during onboarding that they will receive payment links by email. They can use the app to check their invoice status and balance at any time.
