Staff Time Tracking

Neztio's time tracking feature lets your staff clock in and out directly from the web app or a shared tablet. Every entry is timestamped and tied to the staff member's profile, giving you an accurate record of hours worked each day.

Clocking In and Out

  1. 1Navigate to Time Tracking in the left sidebar.
  2. 2Click the Clock In button. Your start time is recorded automatically.
  3. 3When your shift ends, return to Time Tracking and click Clock Out.
  4. 4Your total hours for the day will appear in the daily summary.

Viewing Your Hours

Staff members can view their own time entries for the current pay period. The daily view shows clock-in time, clock-out time, total hours, and any breaks. Use the date picker to navigate to previous days or weeks.

Editing a Time Entry

  1. 1Open the time entry you need to edit.
  2. 2Click Edit Entry.
  3. 3Adjust the clock-in or clock-out time as needed.
  4. 4Enter a reason for the edit in the required Reason field.
  5. 5Click Save. The edit is logged in the audit trail.

Encourage staff to clock in as they arrive and clock out before they leave. Consistent time tracking reduces payroll errors and ensures accurate records for compliance.

All edits to time entries are recorded in the audit trail with the editor's name, timestamp, and reason. These records cannot be deleted.
